March 2009: A number of SHS57 grads are planning to have a big birthday party to celebrate the year when many of us turn 70. You should be hearing from them soon if we have your current email address on file. If you do not hear by the end of March, email me and I'll pass along your new email address. The current plan is to have the party in or near Swarthmore in mid May. Details to follow.
March 2009: Barry and KC Wright have started a new magazine, "Edible White Mountains", part of the edible communities publications. The magazine features regional food-related articles from New Hampshire. It joins a large number of similar magazines including "Edible Philly", "Edible Boston", "Edible Dallas Fort Worth", "Edible Manhattan", "Edible San Francisco", and "Edible Hawaiian Islands", to name only a few of the more than 50 such publications. The first issue is scheduled for June, 2009.
February 2009: Cal and Cecile Coleman were written up in the Swarthmorean. The article tells how they met and shows a wedding picture as well as a more current picture. They have been married 43 years now. You can read the article here.
