Sipler, Ellie Abboud, George & June Hansell, Janice Page, Nancy Graham, Noel Turner, Nony

Timing:
General preference for late April, '07. First weekend in May
rejected.
General preference for 2 day event:
afternoon and evening
Saturday. Brunch Sunday (probably "Dutch treat") for those interested
in follow-up gatherings.
Location:
Swarthmore or close to Swarthmore.
Considered Springfield Country Club:
reasonably close, has fine atmosphere and good food.
Experience would probably be like a nice wedding reception dinner.
Considered Swarthmore Community Center:
in Swarthmore and may have
adequate facilities for our event (Google their web site for details).
May work well for informal afternoon gathering, such as lunch. Dinner
arrangements can be made, also. More information on this site needed,
especially alcohol policy.
Other, more distant sites mentioned, such as Longwood Gardens, etc.. Advantages of these sites over closer sites, however, not clear.
Additional close sites ("Arts center"...see Carol) may be considered, as well.
Site Selection Committee:
Nancy Graham & Janice Page
Treasurer: Noel Turner. Noel will put reunion money into a dedicated Wachovia account and and pay reunion bills out of that account.

Answers and silly prizes awarded at end of mixer. 2) scavenger hunt requiring walking around downtown Swarthmore and visiting numerous stores and shops. Prize(s) awarded at end of mixer. 3) tour of old and new schools; arranged by Nony Barr. 4) (If available) John Davidson performs at end of dinner for approximately one hour; arranged by Nancy Gowing. 5) music and dancing following Davidson? Not discussed but needs to be considered.
